Thinking about coaching but not sure where to start? These FAQs cover the most common questions I get from clients—whether you’re exploring support for yourself, your team, or your organization.

  • I've never been coached—what should I expect?
    Coaching is a conversation with purpose. We’ll create space to step back, reflect, and explore what’s getting in your way or what’s next. I’ll bring structure, tools, and thoughtful questions—but you set the direction. It's a collaborative process designed to help you lead with more clarity, confidence, and intention.
  • How do I know if coaching is right for me (or my team)?
    If you’re navigating change, stepping into something bigger, or feeling stuck—coaching can help. It’s not about having a problem to fix. It’s about making the most of an opportunity to grow. If you’re curious, we can always start with a conversation.
  • How do I get started?
    Schedule a time for us to talk through what you're looking for and whether coaching is a good fit.
  • What kinds of leaders do you typically work with?
    I work mostly with life sciences leaders—especially those in technology or tech-adjacent roles—who are navigating transition, leading through change, or leveling up. Many of my clients are experienced leaders facing new expectations or unfamiliar territory.
  • Do you work with organizations or just individuals?
    Both. I coach individual leaders directly and also partner with organizations to support leadership development or team effectiveness initiatives.
  • How can I work with you?
    I offer 1:1 coaching, group coaching, and custom programs for teams. We’ll tailor the format to what you or your organization needs—whether it’s a short-term reset or a longer engagement focused on growth and momentum.
  • Do I have to get coaching on a regular basis?
    Most clients find a regular cadence helpful—often biweekly or monthly—but it’s not one-size-fits-all. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that supports your goals and schedule.
  • Do you offer coaching for teams as well as individuals?
    Yes! I work with teams to strengthen collaboration, build trust, and align on what matters most. These engagements often include assessments, workshops, and ongoing coaching.
  • Do you offer assessments as part of the coaching?
    I do. Tools like Working Genius, Profile XT, Checkpoint 360, stakeholder feedback, or team diagnostics can provide a shared language and fresh perspective. We’ll decide together if it makes sense for your coaching journey.
  • Can you work with leaders in different time zones or locations?
    Absolutely. Most of my coaching is done virtually, so I can work with leaders wherever they are.
  • How long does it take to see results?
    Many clients begin seeing shifts in perspective or behavior within a few sessions. Sustained change takes time—and momentum builds as you put insights into practice. I’m here to support progress, not perfection.
  • What kinds of outcomes do your clients typically experience?
    Clients often say they walk away with more clarity, stronger leadership habits, and a renewed sense of direction. They lead with greater influence, communicate more effectively, and navigate change with more confidence.
  • Isn't coaching just for really senior people?
    Not at all. Coaching is for anyone leading others, managing change, or navigating growth. I’ve worked with emerging leaders, seasoned executives, and everyone in between.
  • What's it like to work with you?
    Clients describe me as grounded, thoughtful, and action-oriented. I bring structure and challenge, but also warmth and curiosity. I’ll ask good questions, offer useful tools, and always keep the focus on what matters most to you.
  • How is coaching different from mentoring or therapy?
    Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented. I won’t give you advice like a mentor, and I’m not here to explore the past like a therapist. I’m here to help you think more clearly, make intentional choices, and move forward with confidence.
